Description

- The hunting trip: The girl lives on a farm next to the Gregg family, who love to hunt for sport. The girl tries to convince her neighbors that hunting is wrong, but the Greggs just laugh at her. One afternoon, after the Greggs come home with a freshly killed deer and shoot 16 ducks, the girl becomes so enraged that she uses her magic finger on the family.
- The tables turn: The next morning, the Greggs wake up to find they have been shrunken to the size of birds, with tiny wings instead of arms. To their shock, the ducks they shot have become human-sized and taken over their house. The Greggs are forced to build a nest in a tree and experience life in the wild, facing a night of storms and predators.

Mr. Gregg promises never to hunt again, and once the family is safely on the ground, the spell breaks, and they return to normal.
